Is it only me or the rock section is gone from Apple Music? It was until yesterday just after the Alternative category
I see that too. I guess they figured giving Motley Crue a whole row was good enough for that genre.

Anybody listened to full Ozzy release yet? Looking forward to it based on the already released tracks.I see that too. I guess they figured giving Motley Crue a whole row was good enough for that genre.
I tried updating the firmware to the latest 16.x build and the rock is not appearing yet. BUT... they seem to have corrected the Atmos volumen issue and now tracks are much louder. Beware!!!I see that too. I guess they figured giving Motley Crue a whole row was good enough for that genre.
I can still see the Rock category on iOS. Not currently near my Apple TV 4K box, although I have not updated it in the last month or so based on a previously reported issue of tracks being incorrectly tagged as Atmos. Is it only me or the rock section is gone from Apple Music? Yeah not horrible but definitely could’ve been more of a discreet mix. Better than the Warner releases for sure.Happy to report that at least they are ok, not groundbreaking or anything but they have a good full meaty sound and more of a big stadium type effect.
Only seeing it in the 'Featured Playlists' list on my Win10/Chrome app, why can't they just scroll all of them?Is it only me or the rock section is gone from Apple Music? It was until yesterday just after the Alternative category
Are the Motley Crue Atmos mixes better than the 5.1 mixes on the Greatest Video Hits DVD?Yeah not horrible but definitely could’ve been more of a discreet mix. Better than the Warner releases for sure.
They definitely sound like they were mixed for headphones, they sound pretty good in my APM.
Yes and no in my opinion. The DVD has more discreet mixes but not mixed well and in crappy DD 5.1. The Atmos mixes do have some elements that I had never heard before, but seems to have a little less compression. Are the Motley Crue Atmos mixes better than the 5.1 mixes on the Greatest Video Hits DVD?
The new one. On one song, track 9, Degradation Rules, it has a credit for mixing engineer, Alan Moulder.Doesn't appear to be available in Canada. Which album?
Sampling some of this on my computer in stereo, don't know about the Atmos, but man, it really seems to expand out and around into the room!Enjoying John Legend's new album. Pleasing mix.
Great A/C R&B complimented by an excellent mix. The production is sterling!Sampling some of this on my computer in stereo, don't know about the Atmos, but man, it really seems to expand out and around into the room!
On Michael Kiwanuka's 'Kiwanuka" in Atmos:Has this been on Apple before now? I think it was originally a Sony 360 Amazon exclusive, and it may have eventually migrated to Tidal in one form or another. Mix is pretty conservative, as I remember--a missed opportunity. Unless it's been remixed better for Atmos.
Nice album. I like the songs. But the surround mix isn’t all that great. In 5.1 I’m getting some decent action in the rears but it’s one of those mixes with no center speaker. 4.1. .Great A/C R&B complimented by an excellent mix. The production is sterling!
Really good surround mix. Good use of all speakers, stuff swirling around the room in places. One of the better mixes out right now IMO. Like the songs too. Good job, Jude! Now moving on to the new Julian Lennon. The songs are good and so is the mix.
