This is playing in Atmos in the UK. Sounds great so far, Nice separation across all speakers. Just praying SDE release a Bluray of this as that will make a huge difference to the sound (at least on my system anyway). The Bluray version of Hurting is massively different to the Apple music version to my ears. EDIT * The mix for the whole album is fantastic. It feels very different from the 5.1. I also feel like SW is using different takes than before (although it may just be the way he's mixed it) as I'm hearing instrumental parts ive not heard before. Anyway....it's bloody brilliant!*
THIS! In my opinion is a masterpiece. One of the best (if not the best) surround listening experience in my approx 16 years of multi-channel. So many spine tingling moments- well beond expectations- even in its lossy glory. (And yes I do have the 5.1).

In Finland Atmos also.

Swedish band Dina Ögon releases their first Atmos single. ”Glitter”, sounding like a slick Q-Tip track in the original is remade as a brutal Black Sabbath/Neil Young piece here. Great band. Love it!

PS. I salute the quaddy Sly and the family stone-record. What’s not to like?

I have no idea what that means but I love the description.

Do you guys have subwoofers? This Atmos version don’t use them like the original 5.1 does.
Hoping my x4 in the listening room qualifies.

Atmos mixes do have a high degree of listening variability- depending on set-up.

I was more impressed by hidden details, depth and quite idiosyncratic effects produced revealed vertically from my ceiling speakers - rather than bass levels (the tail end of ‘Mother’s Talk’ comes to mind).

The overall balance of the album seemed less cacophonous to my ears-particularly on the track ‘Shout’- which if I recall correctly attracted some criticism in the polls regarding the 5.1.
