One of these days I’ll finally get off my lazy ass and open up the vinyl version that came out the same time.

Ray Charles

His first solo album though in reality a singles and b-sides compilation. Great songs and performance. The sound considering they came from various years and sessions is excellent.
I think it sounds better than any of the three MoFi SACDs.

Count Basie LIVE at the SANDS [Before Frank] [Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab/Stereo SACD] If you really want to experience the thrill of a BIG BAND LIVE, engineer Lowell Frank's astounding 'You Are There' live Recording of Basie's BIG Band Sound is IT! Superior 3 dimensional recording and in my pre/pro's DSP SUPER mode an even BIGGER IMMERSIVE THRILL!

Live At The Sands (Before Frank), Primary, 1 of 10
Live At The Sands (Before Frank), Secondary, 4 of 10

Rickie Lee Jones PIRATES [Warner Brothers/MoFi Stereo SACD] Absolutely ASTOUNDING. With help from Steve Gadd, Donald Fagen, Michael Brecker, Tom Scott, David Sanborn et alia and orchestral arrangements by the legendary Ralph Burns. Only wish RHINO would access the master tapes and do a full ATMOS remix

Pirates, Primary, 1 of 4

Pirates, Secondary, 2 of 4
