SFA's "Phantom Power" also on DVD-V in 5.1, if you don't have it already Duncan?
just as good as Rings Around The World & Love Kraft in Surround imho
I was a little underwhelmed with the surround mix on Phantom Power at first, but I have a feeling that it may be one of those 5.1 mixes where the surrounds were turned down in the mastering phase. Some of the things that move from front to rear seem to get quieter at they move to the rears, which is what gave me the thought that maybe that was the case. In any event, the last time I listened to it I cranked the rears by +3dB and the surround mix was a lot more immersive.
I think I might tear it apart in my DAW one of these days and see what's really going on because of how much more satisfying it was with the rears turned up. Report to follow...at some point.
