Nowhere it says these are upmixes. It says "Atmos and 5.1 mixes with Vangelis supervision".
I discovered about it when opening the box. I send it back. A con, I stand on my description. Amazon description is not invented by Amazon. They use what they are given.

The problems are the sloppy description of Amazon.fr (and maybe others) and the skyrocketing price...Not the product itself ; i was perfectly aware of the upmix condition before ordering this one. IMO, this bluray is more a bonus feature than a main attraction and the Stereo mix is very good.

5.1 DVD rip. FLAC file. 24bit/96Khz. DR's are 11's, 12's.
I see there is a new Van Der Graaf Generator soon to be released. I have 4 5.1 discs, I thought why not listen to the 4 that I have before purchasing a new one, of course I like it, but I really want to be more picky in 2025, slow the wallet bleeding.

I’m sure that I’m not alone in realizing the Who’s Next box set as the tipping point in my surround purchases. My personal music preferences have recently had me decide against purchasing the recently announced Dutton Vocalion releases. I am, for the most part, not a completist so I always evaluate the quarterly Rhino releases on a disc by disc basis. Likewise with SDE. Having said that, I don’t know what releases are on the horizon for 2025 so I’m playing wait and see. At this point in time, the only surround disc that I’m waiting for is the SDE Elton John that is due to drop just a few short days from now.

This will be interesting in 2025. I am starting to back off. I used to see an upcoming surround release on QQ of a band I have never heard of and purchase. Some great gems I have found and a lot of duds.
Yes, I think in 2025 I will start to be more picky with the Rhino Quadio and Atmos series, also the SDE numbered series.
