I've had this sitting with my other discs, sealed, for over a year, because saying "limited numbered edition" and giving it to me sealed, 19 years out of print, is a great way to trick my brain into thinking the album I bought for $18 on eBay is worth keeping sealed. 😅 Finally opened it on Xmas eve and played it. Great quality.

Thank you for opening yours... Now mine (which is still sealed) is worth about 20¢ more. :)

I'm all messed up. I finally caved in and updated to Windows 11. What it did is royally mess up my Foobar setup. Nothing worked...spent hours trying to download again, with the proper components. Nada. Shit show.

So frustrated, I downloaded this cheapo looking player. It works, but damn. Compared to foobar, night and day cheapo.

That sucks and that’s why I gave up music on hard drives and using computers.

Well one does what one can. If you can't figure it out, there's always help.
I have at minimum 3 copies of all my surround in digital copies.
Would think anyone these day would know how to not only archive, but play music from a computer.
But I'm up in my 70's, what would I know?

Not sure because I updated to 11 early but I think I had the same problem, I'm now using Foobar 32 instead of 64. Just install Foobar again and reinstall the Darkone skin.

Leonard Slatkin conducting the Detroit Symphony Orchestra: COPLAND: RODEO THE COMPLETE BALLET [Naxos/Pure Audio BD~A/96/24/5.0] A splendid reading of Copland's complete Ballet in stunning sonics [DTS~HD MA 5.0 or LPCM 2.0] Actually playing it in 2.0 through your DSP surround mode may yield an even more immersive experience. Great BASS extension!

Copland, Primary, 1 of 1

I did that, but it told me I needed to install about 8 components. Several of them were not available and or did not install for whatever reason. Never had these issues at any point when installing any version of Foobar in the past.

Ah. Modern life is difficult. No joke here, folks.
My wife will / can use her phone for everything except paying bills.
I personally don't like phones...don't like my life being interrupted with BS just 'cause they can.
I'm a pc guy, but not exactly PC, if you know what I'm sayin'. Rather figure out stuff on the pc than a simple phone. Go figure.

Anyway pc's are easier to figure out than ..... women. Was intended to be so somewhere back in our evolution. Thankfully.

Hawkwind. Doremi Fadol Latido 5.1
And Greasy Truckers Ball concert in 5.1

Nice box set with bonus tracks book and mix if somewhat expensive.
I'm going to have to keep the last remastered cd of this album because it has an outtake track Ejection that inexplicably does not appear on the box set
Other than that puzzling omission this edition is superb.
But after several box sets I can understand @marpow s Hawkwind fatigue setting in.
