Blur - The Ballad Of Darren

I must admit, the atmos mix on this album is so thin that I switched to stereo part way through.
However... the album itself is growing on me every time and is confirming my suspicion that Blur are up there with the best of British groups. Noel Gallagher could only dream of writing music this good

Well Alan is 76 now. He may not be all that interested, life does that.

I’d like to see Bruce Soord get a shot at the APP catalog. He’s a huge fan and even interviewed Alan a few years ago for prog magazine, so they are aware of each other.

Watching the 2023 Guitar Festival again, I realized one Artist was missing from earlier Festivals.

Another leftie who plays guitar strung for a right hander (so upside down string progresssion)

Another thing I noticed was several guitar players playing the same.

A guy I used to jam with in my younger days also was a leftie but kept the right handed string install. I could only learn from him by ear, because I had no idea what sort of chords he was making.

Also Gary Clarke Jr can come play at my house anytime.
