I have the SQA-100 and it's developed an ever-so-slight hum and, although it's not noticable when playing music, it bugs me. I use this as a center channel amp when I play 5.1 discs on my vintage system. It's not a perfect but it works fine for my needs. I could use any amp, but the idea that this is a quadraphonic piece of equipment makes it kinda cool. 
If you know of anyone wanting to depart with one, please let me know. I'm scouring eBay, Marketplace and (believe it or not) Craigslist. So far, they've all been either too pricey or they have technical issues.
I'm not tech savvy or I'd tinker with it myself. We do have a good repair place here in town, but I'm thinking the repair costs might outweigh just buying another used one.
