Lafayette quad repairs?

I have a friend who fully restored a Lafayette quad full logic receiver/amp, a LR4000a.

I'll reach out to your friend and get his advice before I ship it back. I already coughed up 350 for this as a working unit not in need of repair and if it's another 3-400 making this a 750 dollar purchase I'm not feeling like I'm in a good position.

Thanks. I see the plastic broken off the fuseholder.
I agree with barfle, with visible corrosion, that looks like a major restoration job.
