OK guys, just for comparison, I ordered Off The Wall, MOFI's second batch on Jan 30th.
I ordered from the MOFI site, not Music Direct.
It arrived today Feb 5th with the #655. We all know the number thing is BS, just for conversation, that's all.

Does this help with the puzzle of numbers, for those who bought Off The Wall of course, either from MOFI or Music Direct?.

If anyone is interested, there are some unavailable MOFI SACD's that are available on the Acoustic Sounds MOFI
It's at least worth a look if you missed out on something.
There are 30 that are available.

Because I’m a Joni Mitchell completist I ordered Court And Spark and Ladies Of The Canyon. Because Blue was awaiting a repress, I ordered a mint used copy from someone on Discogs(for a little less money, I might add). There are supposed to be three more Joni MOFI releases in the series and I anticipate that I’ll be buying those as well.

BTW, there were posts on the Steve Hoffman Forums that said that the Court And Spark Rhino box set disc in stereo was superior sound wise to the MOFI release. I suppose that I’ll soon have my own chance to make a comparison. The irony in my particular case is that, having the recording in Dolby Atmos means that I’ll rarely play any of the stereo versions. Alas, such is the life of a completist.
