I'm trying; when I add multiple .mka's nothing appears. When I add a single one, it looks like a bad windows overlay.

Increase the width of your Chapter Editor tool dialog. This dialog expects only one file and only shows the current chapters (if any) and Default Audio stream of the loaded file. Yiu can change the default audio stream, if there is > 1 audio stream.

To load multiple files use the First MMH tool and drag multiple files onto the grid. You can then change the default audio stream for all.

FYI I have noticed Kodi always cuts a couple seconds off all my .mka's at the beginning. I've searched for solutions and have found none

This happens with all players using HDMI to an AVR for Atmos. It takes time for the AVR to sync, recognise the codec and decode.

Using a CUE file with single MKV or MKA solves this by actually just playing one file, no split and restart for each track file.

I have some mlp files I'm trying to convert to trueHD. Can MMH handle this? When I open the MLP files I just get
"MMH can only convert .mlp files to mkv, mka, m4a, or mp4"

Garry, I am trying the cue file approach with my Abbey Road single album MKV to gain some control over track navigation while remaining gapless. On my Zidoo Z9X media player it does not recognize the cue file. Oh well.

But I am posting simply about a nit: when I created the cue file and labeled the chapters, etc it titled the cue file the same name as the folder ("Immersive Music") and not the MKV ("The Beatles - Abbey Road"). I simply went into notepad and changed it, but FYI. A user error?

That’s how it currently works. (Seemed like a good idea at the time). I should change it so cue and MKV (or MKA) have same name as it’s a requirement for Kodi. Thanks for pointing this out.

I think adding m4a support would be fairly easy. Do you have many to do?
Not really. I was considering trying to put the Atmos track of Gentle Giant's Free Hand on the MKV(s) of the 5.1 track because it has better animation. I already have the MKVs and M4As, thanks to MMH. I hadn't really thought about how often I might want to do something like that.

No problem at all, and thank YOU for all these tools!!! :)

So, since I am looking for cue sheet support with a large album file encoded in Atmos (in this case MKV) what are the other file types I should try (with the cue, edited of course)? MKA, M4A, MP4 (not sure exactly which ones support Atmos, a deal killer of course).

Try MKVToolNix (free). You can merge two MKV files and use video stream of one with any audio stream of other.

Gary, would it be possible to change the Channel Volume in MMH to do negative numbers to reduce the volumn below zero? I have some recordings that I would like to reduce some of the channels and using my DAW programs destroy's the tagging and album art where the channel volume does not.
