Something happened to the user defined remix tool in beta 9. 8 still works amazingly well.

MKV to FLAC: tagging is somehow broken in 9beta3. Used 8 instead. I'll check out the new fixes next week.

Thought I would give some feed back as I ripped a lot of discs over the weekend. Beta 9.0.7
I only use two buttons and MMH has many functions that I have never used.
Blu Ray Rips:
I start with MAKEMKV usually rip the Atmos TRU HD, the 5.1 DTS HD MSTR and the stereo either PCM or DTS HD MSTR. Sometimes there are more or less choices.

Next is open MMH.
I start with the button "Split & Rename Concerts" this is solely used for track editing the Atmos file-MKV to MKV.
Note: the new MMH version seems to work faster than before.
I check the JRiver sidecar as I play all my music through JRiver.
Next: Check MusicBrainz for song/track tagging. This seems to work a little harder than before, with the top right button clicking for Blu Ray or Dual Disc etc. I liked it better when before I typed artist and then album and all the choices came down in the drop box.
Overall, I don't know if it is the new button function, but even if I press ALL, the whole thing seems to lag a bit.

I have never used the choice when a song name has Atmos or 5.1 after the song title, I do that in the album description in my MMH tagging.
With using JRiver it does not play gapless with a MKV split into chapters. The work around with this is to keep and add the root file from MAKEMKV, works perfect, except if the onscreen video does not have a track name in the video, I don't know what the name of the song is.
Usually, I split the Atmos into named tracks (chapters) include the root file and after listening if not a gapless album I will delete the MAKEMKV root file from my NAS.

These are my notes: one this one function with the Beta, aside from a little quirky with MusicBrainz, this function works great for me.

I have to go wasn't looking at the clock, I will be back later with my one other function "Extract Audio From MKV".

Beta 9:
When I update from the app I get a downloaded zip file that I cannot open for an update.
When I download from your post above #2776 it downloads and I can update perfect. 9--Beta 7.

MMH 9 has an ‘improved’ (smaller) update/download system, but due to my recent work in the QQ NUSs it’s still not fully tested, and I’m not yet creating the small zip updates. The zipped updates will only have changed files, currently MMH updates are always the full installer (around 250MB). The zipped updates can be much smaller.

Last night I got a $54 bill from Microsoft for Feb for traffic. The month I officially release 9 and every user gets notified that’s going to more than double. So getting zipped updates sorted is getting critical moving forward.

I'm sorry to ask again, but is it possible that Music Media Helper could be made available for Linux?
It's great software, and I'd love to use it on here!

Apologies if I didn't reply.

No. The current plan is Windows Only.

If you have a x86 processor: Use WinToGo on a USB stick (free) to boot to Windows and use MMH 9 on Windows. (any all the other Win apps too of course.

Mac users can run MMH by using Parallels or other Window emulation software

QQ Special Edition Media Players are based in Intel NUCs. The can also boot to a WinToGo USB drive and run MMH and any other window progarm they wany, boot to back Linux (the internal NVME SSD) and they run Kodi

Pretty easy and cheap
