Now that Sony controls all of Paul Simon's stuff ----

Simon allegedly put the kibosh on Japanese Sony's multi-channel SACD of Bridge Over Troubled Water. The odds of hearing his first three post-S&G solo albums in digital surround seem pretty remote. Too bad!

If this is true, and Sony now has control of his catalog, he has nothing to say about it. Maybe Sony will do a Japanese SACD, or maybe DV could do it. If he did, indeed, sell his catalog back to Sony, they can do with it what they wish.

Not necessarily true...just depends on the terms of the sale

While I'm not really big a fan of "Still Crazy After All These Years" I would love to get "Paul Simon" and "Bridge Over Troubled Water" in a modern format. Three on one from DV or 7" Sony releases would be great!
