Patricia Barber - Modern Cool coming on Blu-Ray Audio

Just learned from a reliable source that Impex will be re-rereleasing this album in 5.1 (remastered!) on SACD on October 4th.

This is great news for those who may have missed out on this title the first time around.

I love this one!

Ah--so it looks like just the stereo layer was remastered.

Was hoping for a new Atmos mix; as I have the 2012 5.1 BD, will probably not jump on this.
Still over $70+ used on discogs (and New... forgetaboutit) .

I need to go back and re-listen to this one, because I know Kal was never a fan of the surround mix (a 4 vote!)

There is an Atmos mix on Apple Music, but it sounds to me like they took the 2012 5.1 and duplicated the rear content across the side & rear surrounds. Heights are silent.
