What the hell is the continuation thing that is not going to be in the stand alone releases?

And a lot of space to find to store it in! I can see the scenario with everyone's wives - postman knocks on the door to deliver a LARGE parcel. Wife shouts from another room "who was that at the door?". Husband replies "it was just a CD being delivered dear". :steering:

Well, I chose to have it delivered to my work office....since signature is required! At least I'll be sure to get it assuming it's delivered either Monday-Friday.

No new 5.1 for OBC or Meddle, but we do get the original quads and the new 5.1 for Pompeii.

Hmm, the .pdf says Echoes in 4.0 but not anything else from Meddle. Thanks so much for the PDF listing Amigo!

Ok, summing all this up (more for my sake than anyone else's…)

Here's the surround audio content contained in this set:
From the 1970 DEVI/ATION portion: Atom Heart Mother album original 4.0 Quad mix 1970 (Audio Only)
From the 1971 REVERBER/ATION portion: Echoes original 4.0 Quad mix 1971 (Audio Only)
From the 1972 OBFUSC/ATION portion: Live At Pompeii (with 2016 5.1 Audio Remix) [Audio-Visual Material]

When you talk about 2 Quads and 2 5.1s, are you referring to the information that was posted yesterday from Pink Floyd's store?
If so, that information was incorrect. All of the correct information on this set has been posted this morning, and the only new 5.1 mix is the one for the Pompeii film, while the only Quad mix from "Meddle" is "Echoes".

Despite the lack of more 5.1, the set as a whole is great. I was expecting all the studio albums included as well, but the content is amazing with most of it being live and outtakes.

Hopefully Pink Floyd will continue with 1973 onwards as well

No, just a new mix of the original album. I'm not surprised that there isn't a surround mix for that album at all really, it was recorded rather quickly and not labored over like most of their other albums.

No, there isn't. The premature info posted yesterday from the Pink Floyd store was wrong.
