There is no specific AVR setting for quad. It will play as multichannel pcm.
Some media player software can’t send quad, it’s sent as stereo. So you can change you s/w or add silent channels to trick the player/AVR to thinking its playing a. 5.1 file. MMH can do that for you.
Recent Kodi versions send quad (4 channel) files to AVRs with silent channels, so no need to fix the source files.
