Every now & then I just google quadraphonic & hit "news". Today this popped up:



If you live within reasonable distance of Urbana, IL (home of Hal 9000) this sounds like a fun event.

It sez:
"The original, quadraphonic mix of Dark Side of the Moon will be played in its entirety along with many other tasty quad and 5.1 selections"

Yeah, yeah I know... most of us can enjoy this album in original quad anytime we want. But any event that brings quad to the public is worth taking part in.

It looks like the Rose Bowl bar is one of those places that normally has two kinds of music: Country and Western:

Going to the Dark Side seems an anomaly. Even more reason for @GOS to visit & enjoy the moment.
