The purpose of this thread is to post links to YouTube clips which you think other members might like to see.
In this version I suggest clips that are performances of professional musicians. Probably musicians that we all know, or performing musicians that you think we should know.

Here is my first entry in the Professional Musicians category:
There is a curious artifact in the Pink Floyd canon that is quite obscure, so that only the hardcore fan might even be aware of it. Before Pink Floyd recorded their first single, and indeed before they recorded the soundtrack for the formerly obscure film "Tonight Let's All Make Love in London," which is now formally released, there was a 1966 recording of Interstellar Overdrive with Syd Barrett, and this was used in America for an underground film called "San Francisco." Until YouTube I had only read about this film although the music did circulate in collector's circles. But with Youtube, I finally got to see the film, and now you can too:
