In this version I suggest clips that are performances of professional musicians. Probably musicians that we all know, or performing musicians that you think we should know.

Here is my first entry in the Professional Musicians category:

There is a curious artifact in the Pink Floyd canon that is quite obscure, so that only the hardcore fan might even be aware of it. Before Pink Floyd recorded their first single, and indeed before they recorded the soundtrack for the formerly obscure film "Tonight Let's All Make Love in London," which is now formally released, there was a 1966 recording of Interstellar Overdrive with Syd Barrett, and this was used in America for an underground film called "San Francisco." Until YouTube I had only read about this film although the music did circulate in collector's circles. But with Youtube, I finally got to see the film, and now you can too:

I know.. I looked on ebay, amazon, yesasia, cdjapan.. around 50us dollars+ everywhere.

though on youtube, it's still 1080p and the music comes out well in DPLII.. maybe not the most immersive experience, but it gets you good seats!

It really is a splendid BD~V. I saw Chris perform portions of this concert live at the Tarrytown Music Hall in Tarrytown, New York a few years ago. Lucia also performed. A gorgeous concert and I even have Chris' autograph on the RBCD set.

BTW, ji eff, Lucia had a recurring role for a few seasons on HBO's fantastic TREME which detailed the effects of the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina on the city of New Orleans. She performs quite a bit of mesmerizing violin solos/duets, etc. throughout the series. I just bought the complete first season (4 chock full BD~Vs with astounding audio) for next to nothing. AmazonUS has it for $11.55 NEW + s/h. As a musician, you will LOVE the music....absolutely brilliant!

It's not only very well played (and SUNG!!!), it's beautifully staged, photographed and edited.

If you have a Roku or similar way of watching this on a real TV with stereo sound and big speakers, do it. Even if AHM isn't your favorite Floyd piece, you might appreciate this one visually and enjoy the talent and work.

This clip belongs in YouTube 2.5, as it is a professional musician who amuses me. I first discovered bass player Federico Malaman through this clip, and I recommend watching pretty much any clip the man has posted. He's the goofiest virtuoso I've ever seen. He can also play with amazing feel and groove when the music calls for it.
