This is great news! If the interview was done in April 2019 this means that Blue Moves is not part of the EJ catalog that perished in the 2008 Universal Music Group fire!

TBH, any news of any future EJ 5.1 release(s) will almost certainly come in a new thread.
Maybe this was already discussed, but I just read in Elton's autobiography that John Reid had him sell off all rights to his master recordings, past and future, so he has no control over them nor gets royalties for the use of any of it (including radio). He quickly grew to regret the decision, because after Reid took a share, as well as attorneys and the tax man, the sum of compensation wasn't adequately significant.
Yeah, I suppose it also means he has no pull in getting these precious recordings out of a corporate vault. (Of all the stupid things one could do...) We're screwed.
