It is the clunkiest I've encountered. Discount codes haven't worked for me in well over a year, with 2 browsers. I did finally figure out that their order page breaks (hit button, nothing happens or throws an error) with ad blockers or extensions of any kind, including my password manager, enabled in Firefox. Something with captcha. Who knows, but it is amateur hour programming.

After several years of complaints, numerous posts from a lot of folks here about problems placing orders, I guess they don't care they have a crappy web ordering system. I've gotten used to it, temporarily disable all Firefox extensions to place the order or try using Edge with no extensions.
to me they said that codes will not work because thay are not valid for the new batch...whatever that would mean...

Pretty exciting releases, actually. I've never heard Roots, or Live At Filmore West, so surely will be a treat to own these. Of course, I ordered all 4 and picked up Devo's Freedom Of Choice vinyl to get free shipping.
Mayfield's "roots" isn't a must have, yes, but i'm sure you will like the Fillmore🥰

Okay, so because of Rhino's ever-wonky website, high shipping costs, and discount codes that don't work, I'm now willing to wait the 90 days until they show up on Amazon. I'd like to know if the Deluxe Edition of Muscle of Love is going to be on Amazon as well, or will that be a Rhino website exclusive? Thank you. @ForagingRhino

The discount codes shouldn't work. They are old and not intended to work going forward. Anyone who had luck using them previously, was just that. luck.
Of course, this is just my opinion....but I'm always right, so.... :hi

Billy Cobham - Spectrum

I think you know which album I want the most on quad.
Sidenote: Cobham turned 80 last year, and he sat for DownBeat's famous "Blindfold Test" last November. (He didn't pass with flying colors, exactly, but the conversation was still interesting, and he kicked things off by giving big props to one of my favorite contemporary drummer-composer-bandleaders, Allison Miller.)

We need pictures- now how cool is that. I don't know why I am so excited about this foursome. I have surround music up the XXX, I would think this would be just another, but really grabbing me.

One thing that is exciting and an enticement to order them and possibly get all four is definitely the price. These surround discs are priced at about what I was getting Audio Fidelity SACDs for from Deep Discount nearly ten years ago.

And the $20 cash outlay for these today in a four-bundle or on sale at Target Circle is like paying $3.00 per disc in 1974.

Think about that when considering if these are going to break the monthly spending budget.

Such an abundance of BD QuadraDiscs, now sounding better than Q4 reels, for $3.00 (in ‘74 dollars) a piece.

Oh yeah... first we need to go through order buttons not clicking, discount codes no longer valid, diff browsers to use, no shipping notices, late shipping and no notices but items shipped, cracked cases, customs fees, and finally discs arrived. :devilish:
I may be wrong....but if I know Mr. @quicksrt at all on this subject....this is a bit of tongue & cheek. We would prefer a focus on the music and not the to be expected ordering and shipping issues.

An astute observation & option.

Quick question on quad setup. Back in the 70's when quad was originally released, the speaker setup was two fronts and two rears. With my Anthem processor, it will not allow me to setup the two fronts and two rears only. You have to turn on the two side channels before it let's you turn on the rears! So I'm thinking about changing the speaker wire outputs on the anthem and put my rears on the side channel output while I listen to these quad discs... my thoughts are, that was the setup that they were originally mixed for... anyone else run into this?
