Yes. Two tweeter, one front and one on the backside. I like it, big, powerful with warm soundcharakter. The manufacturer says, throught the back tweeter, the sweet spot is bigger. But i can`t say how it sounds if you close the back-tweeter.

Seems like a very good setup.
But some acoustic treatment would do miracles! :)

Hello,

the two at the bottom are the JVC JM-S1000 Stereo Power Amplifier and the sixth at the right is the JVC JP-V1000 4-Channel Control Amplifier.

I have had a pair of Koss K/2+2 quad headphones since new, but some time ago they started acting up. One channel didn't work, and it ended up being a faulty 2-channel/4-channel switch (a common fault on these) … which I eventually gave up trying to locate. This past weekend a buddy picked up a load of vintage audio gear at an estate sale, and he sold me all the quad stuff … which included a pair of K/2+2 headphones. They were in tough shape. Someone had etched their SIN into one of the chromed flanges. The earpads were flattened out (a common condition with most older Koss headphones), and the ear pad foam had disintegrated (also common). The balance controls were scratchy and intermittent, but a few shots of NuTrol sorted that out. I parted out my original pair for the ear pads and chrome flange, and replaced the rotted ear foam with black speaker grill cloth. Lots of good parts left too! They turned out pretty nice, and you have to love that classic Koss sound. I won't likely use them a lot, but they came in a fun box of quad treasures.

My weekend consisted of installing a new Technics SL-1210GR turntable into my main system and documenting the component connections so others in the house can utilize it. I installed a Audio Technica VM540ML cartridge with a Microline stylus and hope to get to some CD-4 playback after some break in.

Oh man.. sweet stuff!!!
I see a Marantz!.. and it reminds me of my aeronautical purchasing days cause it looks like your "M.E.L"* is covered! Do I see THREE receivers???

*Minimum Equipment List"
Yes, The Marantz 7011 is the heart of the system and the Kenwoods provide discrete and upmixing capabilities for the front wide speakers and surround back. Here is a link to the equipment list and diagrams of the equipment connections,

my current gear is
DVD-A / DVD Player: Oppo UDP-203
SACD Player: Oppo UDP-203
Blu-Ray Player: Oppo UDP-203
Turntable: Technics SL-1210GR
Phono Cartridge: Audio Technica VM540ML
Q4 Tape Deck: Dokorder 7140 & Teac 3340, Pioneer QT-6600
Q8 Tape Deck: Technics 858
CD-4 Demodulator: Technics SH-400 & Panasonic SE-405
SQ Decoder: Tate 101A, Surround Master, Lafayette SQ-L
QS Decoder: Surround Master
Ambisonic Decoder: Onkyo SV-909 Reciever
Amplification / Reciever: Marantz SR-7010 5.1.4 & Kenwood VR-6070 Back 3 channels, Kenwood VR-6050 Front 2 wide channels
Center Channel Speaker: JBL P40
Front Channel Speakers: JBL P50, JBL P20 (Wide)
Rear Channel Speakers: JBL P30 (surround) JBL P30 (Back) JBL P40 (Center back)
Subwoofer (LFE Channel): Peavy 2-15" cabinet with Titanic MKIII woofers and Dayton HPSA1000R amp
Additional Speakers: JBL P20 Height Front & Rear

The upmixing idea came about as I had the gear and a problem that came about between my Oppo players and modern surround decoders not recognizing 4.0 recordings. That lead me to do analogue inputs for 4.0 but no base management or upmixing. So the solution was to buy a cheap Samsung bluray player that gets around the 4.0 issue as the Marantz see's it as 5.1 OR ADD MORE GEAR!! AMPS!! Why not go that route I thought.
