400 Club - QQ All-Star
Hello Again,
Here we have ye olde ripping turntable and cassette player at the computer with a Sansui integrated amp. In the background you can barely see some of one of the baby Klipsch's that go with this setup. The turntable is a fully automatic Technics SL-5300. A nice feature that it has is that when the tone arm is raised the stylus is not hot, so you can clean it without all the noise. Also when the arm sets down to play there is a slight pause before the stylus gets hot so you don't have to kringe at the sound of the needle hitting the record and picking up the groove. Notice the Sony Car Discman on top of the cassette deck. Too funny, as I am typing about cars Autobahn just came on in the next room where my youngest sons are watching the Min Max, Kraftwerk video on still another setup.
When I use this setup at the computer, it's double stereo point one. The Sansui puts out stereo to the Klipsch's while the computer drives the signal through a 2.1 Infinity package. When I want true quad in here, I can bring in the Panasonic Q8 deck and feed 2 channels to the Sansui and 2 channels to the computer. Woala! 4.1 in your face. Cheap thrills.
It gets better, I promise...
