found i got a better sensation of separation out of the matrix LPs thru the SM using the AT carts w/MicroLine & Shibata stylii i'd got for CD-4 purposes than the other elliptical ones i picked up fwiw

Thanks! And very true- I actually use an Empire 4000 D/II for doing conversions through the Tate. That may actually be what’s in the picture. It really helps reduce the inner groove distortion. I just don’t want to wear it out casually playing back records...

New (used) matching fronts. The guy drove down from Anaheim to San Diego just to get out of the house, no extra charge. I don't have a top of the line system but these put me a bit closer.
