Unfortunately, it seems that the latest Sonos update (from their infamous app rewrite that has made things really difficult since April) broke DTS 4.0 decoding. I put in one of the Quadio Chicago mixes (Chicago 2), and nothing plays in the surrounds, and Terry Kath's guitar (and occasionally horns) are completely missing. Stereo mix plays fine, as do 5.1 and Atmos surround mixes on other discs. Just seems to affect only the Quadio releases (or anything done 4.0) as far as I can tell.
I play from a Sony UBPX800M2 BluRay, through a Sony 77" OLED, passing through to the Arc and Surrounds (which are powered by an Amp).
Was on the phone with Sonos for 3 hours trying to troubleshoot today, and they said they needed to take it back to the engineering drawing board (dartboard?).
Anyone else having this issue (or not)?
