Spinners' final quad release, 1975's Pick of the Litter would be their first Atlantic LP not to hit the top of the R&B charts, but it did mark their best showing in the Billboard 200 pop album charts, making it all the way to #8. The album spawned two singles, Games People Play (R&B #1, Pop #5) and Love or Leave (R&B #8, Pop #36).

Just as Long as We Have Love includes uncredited vocals from Dionne Warwicke, who collaborated with Spinners on the #1 pop hit Then Came You, from their previous album, 1974's New and Improved.

Looks like there's a serious mis-press on my copy of the CD-4 vinyl. Side 1 is only stereo. Side 2 is CD-4 quad. How can you tell if your copy is also a mis-press? Easy.
1) take a look at the matrix number on Side 1. If it begins with "ST," it's not quad
Even easier
2) take a look at the runout groove. CD-4 records neverhave a very short/tight runout groove. Those inner grooves don't decode well. The runout groove on Side 1 on my copy is extremely short.

If I can figure out how to copy the CD-4 version to make another entry into Discogs, I'll do that to create a new version. (But I'm honestly totally confused when making Discog submissions.)
