Nice, thanks. Its a shame that SW won't be remixing the early David Gilmour albums. I have been told by a friend in the know that Gilmour's current producer has been assigned to remix these albums now (no mention of surround mixes).
His first record is incredible, would love it hear it in surround, Atmos or at least 5.1.

I'd love to see it get the treatment that Chris Squire's Fish Out of Water deluxe box got.

But is that enough difference to warrant paying £70 for the deluxe instead of £15 for the standalone!
If all you care about is the most-polished music: probably not. In my case, I love Earbooks, with their much larger and often more expansive print material, as well as having the album and extras on CD.

For the low, low add on price of £70 you get

A fatter booklet with more pictures.

Extra music:
CD2: THE ALTERVIEW (Exclusive to this Edition)
1. Orchestral Objects (23.17)
2. Beautiful Infinity - early version (4.47)
3. Unused Objects (11.41)
4. No Ghost on the Moor - alternate version (7.10)
5. Permanence - extended version (13.26)

and an extra 23:17 5.1 & Atmos Mix of Orchestral Objects.

Ended up going with Bull Mouse, I've been waiting on Amazon usually for these types of preorders but they botched the last two in different ways, so not looking for them to invent a third way of dropping the ball. BM is a solid outfit and buying from small merchants is obviously a good thing. I bought two, figuring a resale or gifting the second. Shipping was $6.50 (no tax)

ImportCDs might have been another non-Amazon option, but it's not listed and the BM price/shipping was on par to what I'd expect importcds to list it (eventually).

I went with Bull Moose too. It's been awhile since I ordered from them.

and extras in Hi-Res on the BD also

“The third disc is a blu-ray which expands on the standalone version by also including all of the bonus material in high res stereo, and 5.1 / Dolby Atmos mixes of the orchestral Objects Outlive Us”
