Agreed.I've only owned a couple of Al Stewart's early albums, and this was not one of them. All new material to me, and I very much like most of the tracks. The surround mix is first-rate. The live CD is quite good, too. It's interesting to compare the onstage material with the studio tracks.

The live album - usually the sort of thing I view as box set filler - is a revelation!
When I was younger (and a metalhead) if someone asked me who I thought would be the most boring live act possible, I would have put Al Stewart on the list…look how wrong you can be…and happily so
