I just ordered what was listed as the "Only 1 Copy Left" on Amazon with free prime delivery for this Sunday. The copy I ordered is an import and it is "shipped and sold" by Amazon. I confirmed this by applying a $20+ Discover cash-back bonus at checkout. If it's not an actual first party Amazon item then that bonus cannot be applied. I'll happily roll the dice for a brand new under $50 delivered copy of this thing. I guess I'll know in a couple of days if the gamble pays off or not.

I was going through this thread way back into 2014 and trying to find the original price of this set back then. I want to compare, even adjusted to inflation.
Another important aspect I need answers for is the 5.1 quality on the DVD within this set. Anybody has both this set and the standalone Pure Audio series Blu-Ray. Are the 5.1 streams on both identical in terms of quality?
Did the Blu-Ray contain the video content from Disc 5 in the box set?

That is not so surprising. It just means that Amazon was able to quickly secure a re-stock from their supplier. The new ones now show a ship/delivery est. of 11/25-11/26. Pretty sure mine was one of the last copies actually in the warehouse that was available for immediate Prime shipping.

FYI, I just received this (the box set, not the Blu-Ray) from Amazon, and was pleased to find that it was true DVD-Audio (MLP). I would love to see an Atmos mix, however...
Yeah. I don't have the Blu-ray, but the disc in the box set is absolutely a fully spec-ed out DVD-Audio disc. I have to think that if the Bu-ray was a different mix or mastering than the 2014 release there would be some mention of it on the disc label or packaging.

Thanks all, I understand the mix was identical on both formats. I was concerned about the DVD having an inferior audio quality versus the Blu-Ray for the same mix. DTS Master Audio vs MLP for Blu-Ray & DVD respectively.

Thanks I'm sure it tracks for the particular store. I actually meant trying to find out how much this box costed when it first came out. If it was a no-brainer price currently or more than when it was first released.
Just like right now people must have discussed different prices at different stores when this was announced.
However I gave up at page 5 into the thread.
