The music is 10/10 all day the mix was Conservative but enjoyable and no where near as bad as I was lead to believe (which I think I have said before in this thread) I gave it an 8

Bought this when it first came out and have loved it since. Based on the reviews, I was hesitant to make the purchase of this set. I finally found it for $50, in mint condition. Now I’m kicked myself in the ***, this release is straight fire. Can’t believe I haven’t been listening to this for years. Hunger strike is balanced on my set up and sounds great to me.

We'll, you have the testimony of some here, saying it's fine.
You're entitled to imagine it sucks though.
I'm sure that on an unbalanced system it does...

If Cornell is centered and Eddie is in the rear off to one side, wouldn't it require an unbalanced system to make Eddie not seem unbalanced off to one side?

I've been revisiting this morning and came to check my vote, I voted it a 5...which is exactly what I was feeling. I wondered if I had left a 6 or 7 and was coming to reduce it lol.

With how much we've been spoiled lately with Atmos on Blu-ray, what struck me most revisiting this is how loud it is, but it's not a loudness wars victim as it still has fairly okay dynamics but not on the level of an Atmos mix. Would love to see it revisited by someone with a better mixing resume like Bob C.

Looking at the files I was struck by something this morning, the LFE channel has a lot of information way beyond what should be down there, looking at Hunger Strike once Eddie starts singing, there are two guitars in there (one doing the delay chord, one doing the two note picking motif) and they're not rolled off whatsoever, information right up to 20kHz. How much of this is audible? My Paradigm Servo 15v2 subs have no desire to playback full range guitar tracks or the upper sibilants of a hi-hat that are in there also.
