Well a couple weeks ago we took a guided tour of Kansas City's organized crime history. Excellent use of the day. As part of the fun & games everyone on the bus was given a gang mob alias. Scar face, Bugsy, two timing Betty. You get the corny humor. Anyway the name chosen by the tour company for me was:

MOBSTERS 2..jpg

Anyway not very gangsterly but I liked it.

It seems common that city mayors of competing teams make a wager on the outcome of a special game. This time it involves BBQ & Philly cheese steak sandwiches.

Per local TV:

Not to stir any pots, but this is the second Super Bowl wager between mayors in Kansas City and Philadelphia.
Lucas mentioned the last time around, the Philadelphia mayor at that time, Jim Kenney, didn’t pay off his bet. That leads Mayor Lucas to laughingly suggest he might ask for a double payoff when the Chiefs win this Sunday.

Unfortunately it's on a bit too late for this old timer.
So it will be recorded and I will watch it, in full, early tomorrow morning.
All news will be censored.
Just hope my family stick to their promises and not give me any scores etc.

I reckon Kansas City will win.
Your post just made me wonder.....
If the NFL does ever have a franchise in the UK, will they be forced to put the SB on at more neutral time? Maybe 4 hours earlier, or even more.

Personally I hate the current start time. It doesn't matter as much to me personally now that I've retired as it did when I was working, but having the game end around 10PM or later sucks when you have to get up at 6:00 the next morning. It pretty much means you have to take a vacation day on Monday if you really want to do the whole SB party thing. Not a problem if it's your team in it, but if it's two teams you don't care about it isn't worth wasting a day,
Unfortunately, I have a lot of friends who aren't retired yet and they aren't willing to do much on SB Sunday because of the late end time.

Yeah, it was a bummer for me and the rest of New England having to stay up late all those years when the Patriots were in it. Now it's Scott's turn to suffer.

I 100% agree with comments it should start earlier. But still it wraps up not too late for me... I would just as likely be up later with music or movies. Retirement is wonderful.
