OSU is destroying Oregon 31-0 with still six minutes left in the first half.

I’m glad that I watched Texas vs ASU. It was an exciting second half and the game went into overtime.

You have to wonder about this CFP rule where major conference winners get automatic first round byes.
I’m thinking that’s more of a penalty than a positive these days. Three byes losing so far. Huh?

Yeah, I'm more interested in seeing exciting, close games regardless of who wins. (I can say that because the Jets have been out of it since almost forever. :ROFLMAO: )

In this CFP so far, only the Texas vs ASU game was very exciting and that was because the entire Texas team had a brain fart in the last half of the fourth quarter. Kudos to ASU RB Cam Skattebo. Any NFL team would want him on their roster.

Oh, I still wish that Boise State had made a few more plays in that game against PSU.

The NFL playoffs might have a couple of dud games, although there is more parity at the pro level of competition. For example, I believe that it will be very difficult for the Bucs or the Falcons to beat any of this year's powerful wild card teams despite having home field advantage.

Hey @JohnN @Bill B @LuvMyQuad @Imbobman @Sonik Wiz @cbmmm3 @rugene . So tell me, what is it like to still have this feeling of HOPE so late in the NFL season?
It's interesting. On one hand it's thrilling that your favorite team has gone so far. Equally nerve wracking feeling that they could wipe out after going so far. At least that's how it is for me.

And the Chiefs/Broncos game this weekend should be interesting too. Several KC starters will be benched including Mahomes. He will be replaced by Carson Wentz. IMO, he's probably a good enough player to be a starter somewhere else. So I'm glad for that.

Hope is not fun because it means you are not sure of anything. I don't see how the Steelers can pull it off against any team. They won the turnover game in the first 13 games but with a heavier schedule, they lost every game. I am just praying right now...

Have no fear, rugene. You have a big support group here. Although @JohnN will be a bit ornery to deal with if the Steelers meet the Bills. Are there any Vikings fans on this thread?

Also @rugene , I would gladly trade the Mike Tomlin Steelers years for the same NJ Jets years. Tomlin knows how to make something out of nothing. He hasn't had a losing season in 18 years as head coach of the Steelers. And those couple of years that he was 8-8...if those guys were Jets they probably would have had a record of 2-128. :poop:

Plus Tomlin is only 52 years old. A whole bunch of coaches were older than that when they won Super Bowls. I am very, very jealous!
