The announcer said the estimate of the crowd was 51% Minnesota. That in itself is surprising to me. Its not out of reach yet but the Vikings just look so out of synch. Especially Darnold.
Someone needs to explain to Darnold that he can throw the ball away and doesn’t have to take a sack.

wow. Indeed, what the hell has happened to the Vikings ? What caused this collapse ? Sure, the Rams played awesome but thats now 2 weeks in a row that the Vikes were embarrassing. I dont recall seeing any "Go Vikings" jinx posts from JohnN. So, perhaps its the ghosts of the Jets ?
BTW they had 4 losses this year - 2 to the Lions and now 2 to the Rams.

footnote - first round this year was not all that exciting. one competitive game out of 6

Very interesting Rickie.

Watching both Vikings last two games, for me, all Sam Darnold fail. An example of athletes do fall under pressure. One game to win the Division and one game to advance in playoffs.
Ball accuracy and staying in the pocket too long, big fails. Jefferson had no happiness on his face, but he did stay a good teammate and did not cause extra problems.

I went with the Rams & it's looking good. What has happened to the Vikings? 😕
It must be some sort of a lingering effect from the beat down the week before by the Lions.

What I’ve been saying all along…Darnold was bred in the Jets organization. That is the kiss of death. The Jets ruin QBs.

Good luck with that. Remember, the Jets ruin QB's. The Vikes still might win as they have an excellent team.
All things considered, Darnold and Geno Smith have both made pretty good comebacks since their time with the Jets. I agree that Darnold needs to learn to throw the ball away. I haven’t seen that many sacks in one game since I last watched a Bears game. One of the things that you should learn early in your NFL career is to get rid of the football. I guess Darnold and Williams never got that memo.

It goes without saying but the one thing that you absolutely don’t learn when you’re with the Jets is how to prepare for the postseason.
