I’m rooting for the Bills to win the Super Bowl. They have never won a Super Bowl, and with the Lions out, the Bills have the fan base that has suffered the most of the remaining teams.

My second choice would be the Eagles; third are the Commanders.

KC has had its days and will likely have yet another day or two or three if Mahomes (Brady 2.0) and Reid (Belichick 2.0) stick around.

Not to mention, living through the heartbreak of the Marv Levy years.

@Imbobman

Bobby - you see this ? This is the new Bears coach.
Thems fightin words ! Here it is ---

Surprisingly, Johnson said he wanted to stay in the division that saw three playoff teams in 2024, including his former mates, the Lions. He also admitted he enjoyed beating Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur twice this past season.

“I wanted to stay in this division,” he said, per Adam Jahns of The Athletic. "And, to be quite frank with you, I kind of enjoyed beating Matt LaFleur twice a year."

Jinxed Chiefs at third here. If Bills fail... :alien: I want to see a 3-peat. Respect for KC & jinxes. 🥏

So, ill share this with my tailgate buddies. This is how i spent my day.

Woke up at 4AM. Showered. Went to a hospital. Had a shredded arthritic left hip replaced. This condition along with two lesser arthritic knees cause me to use a cane for the last 2 years and made many things inconvieient.

At 4pm i was headed home. The large initial reduction in pain is shock&awe for me. Now i know some of this could be painkillers. But wow what an improvement on the very first day. And then there is the better mobility. I can see the difference already. Thier system of doing this is impressive.

Anybody ever get one of these done?

I missed a whole day of NFL smack

The New York Jets Make Yet Another Disappointing Head Coaching Hire With Aaron Glenn
Tell me if you've heard this one before. The Jets hire a first time head coach who used to be a defensive coordinator. Robert Saleh. Todd Bowles. Al Groh. Herman Edwards. Eric Mangini. We've done this so many times and each time ends the same way: failure.

This franchise is beyond fucked. They probably need to tear the house down. Fuck, they should even pull out the foundation. Just start completely over. If that's the plan and you want Aaron Glenn to be the head coach while the team goes 2-15 for three seasons, fine. Whatever. Hire some first time guy and use it as a lottery ticket to see if you have the next Vince Lombardi.

But that's not what this team will do. They will try to duct tape enough pieces together to trick Woody Johnson (and his now-in-charge teenage sons) that the team is "competitive" while being just good enough to not get a top draft pick but being plenty bad enough to not be competitive.
I feel like I'm living in permanent deja vu with Aaron Rodgers. He's not a good quarterback anymore. What are we doing here? Hubbs tried to warn me he wasn't that good even in his last year with the Packers. That was THREE season ago! What could they possibly expect from him at this point? Why is this team doing this?
I wanted them to hire Brian Flores. Well, I really wanted them to get Mike Vrabel but that was never going to happen. As far as Flores goes, I think he would have been an ideal guy to build a winning environment and create distance between Woody's nonsense and the team. Of course, that's exactly why he wouldn't get hired.
It's also so on brand for the Jets to hire a head coach before they hire a GM. Why make it a more difficult situation for a guy just getting a job? Let him choose the head coach! It's not they just started looking for a GM now. They fired Joe Douglas before the season was over.
It's wild that Woody hired Mike Tenenbaum's firm to help go through this hiring process, interview what felt like hundreds of guys only to settle on the most obvious Jets hire ever. It just gets harder and harder to care about this team. They keep doing the same stupid shit year after year and there are only so many times you can scream at this team for screwing up. At some point, it's my fault if I'm getting upset at the same things happening over and over.

Glad to hear all went well. Ive never had this done but was involved when both of my parents had hip replacement. Just remember to do whatever PT program they suggest - and do it diligently. Get well bro

…but don’t overdo it! And take ibuprofen before heading off to your PT sessions because they will be kicking your ass, for sure!
