The old company couldn't get along without you, eh? Or maybe your second career is a greeter at Walmart???
I've been trying to convince my local bowling alley that they need a night watchman . . . so i can bowl from midnight to 8 am! That would be a nightly Super Bowl!

And the Browns resigned Myles Garrett, making him the highest paid non-QB player. @Willie Wilson , what do you think?
A little surprised as the scuttle here was that Garrett was ready to miss camp and then games. Not surprised that this happens just after Max Crosby signed with the Raiders because it allows Garrett to be higher-paid and set a new standard. Better for him and better for the NFLPA.

The cap hit the Browns would have taken to trade him was huge, so it wasn’t going to happen this year. Garrett’s agent had to appeal for a new contract and loads of cash. Also, if the team does not bounce back soon, they can look at trading him in a few years with what will then be considered a reasonable contract.

I’m happy that a hall of famer is staying in CLE. Garrett is a phenomenal talent. I just don’t know if the team can finally climb the mountain. There’s still that matter of the owner to deal with…
