Every once in awhile, Deep Discount has a 'Blow out bin' dedicated to overstock items which are sometimes offered at a fraction of their original cost. Vinyl LPs under $5, etc. Here is the link and all items are divided into genres [LPs, BD~V, CDs, etc] so if you have the time peruse the 'stacks!'

With ImportCDs it is a good idea to have a browser open to their site as well to check prices. Some of the ebay offerings are a good deal made better at 20% off while others cost a bit more than their normal prices.

I'm a regular ImportCD shopper and just be aware in order to offer free s/h and the additional 20% discount they have jacked up their normal prices $7~10 over their normal discount prices, MOST especially on the SACDs. I did bite and ordered 4 discs including the Talking Heads '77 [DVD~A/CD combo] which was one of the best deals of them all [I already have it but wanted a back~up].

For folks into 3D movies (not technically part of this site but discussed a bunch), Disney is unloading a few Marvel movies in 3D combo sets as part of their "insiders" rewards site. If you're not in you can redeem each code from a physical movie purchase for 150 or 200 points. They're selling these for 800 or 900 points:

Captain America: Civil War
Avengers: Age of Ultron
Captain America: The Winter Soldier

There's a bunch else in non-3D as well. Worth using if you have the points/codes: Disney Movie Insiders

Always a catch...said the fish.

Unfortunately Gene, Deep Discount and ImportCD's sales used to include pre~orders but NOT ANYMORE! And that seems to be the trend with any of the music vendors ..... probably due to the inordinate delays sometimes experienced by 'shifty' release dates because of this pandemic, etc.

The Mahavishnu Project's Return to the Emerald Beyond, led by free-jazz/fusion drummer Gregg Bendian and featuring a lineup of Chicago-based jazz cats, including Zach Brock on violin, is this weekend's half-price title from Cuneiform.

It's a little complicated: on the album page, click "Buy Digital Album," enter $10 in the "Name Your Price" box and "FIVE" as the code on the checkout page. (This is a double album, but most single albums are $10, which is where those figures come from.) Then you'll be charged $7 (half-price) for high-quality FLACs.

Endorsed by John McLaughlin & Jan Hammer!

"Selected titles from across our catalogue."

Jazz/big band, pop, easy listening, and classical. I haven't found any SACDs yet, though.

(Edit: I ended up ordering a couple of John Dankworth albums--progressive big-band jazz from the 1970s. Gotta keep D-V in business!)
