In case anyone is still looking for the Quadrophenia Live In London set, it can still be found new on ebay for $39 shipped:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/194212057667
Details here but it also includes the 5.1 mix of the 1973 album on a second blu-ray:

Great deal. I find it interesting that the original Pure Audio Quadrophenia BluRay is very costly near-unobtanium at this point, yet the same mix is available in this Live set, for a very reasonable price.

Hi Gene

A lot of these restocked Pentatone are sold out.

Can you recommend a few good multichannel recordings from the list? A few are marked original quadraphonic recordings. Anything even outside Pentatone would be considered.
I was fortunate to buy some Pentatone multi~CH SACDs when jpc.de was blowing them out for five dollars and change [about a dozen SACDs were on sale including a few box sets].

Unfortunately, the sale is OFF!

There were a lot of them: HRAudio.net - Music

The Boston Symphony recordings have particularly active surround mixes. Most of the rest are fairly ambient, but feature a lot of great musicmaking. It's OOP, but this is one of my favorites on musical grounds.

When I looked at it this morning only one or two Pentatone titles were sold out. I found out about it because I am on their email list.
The reason I mentioned it was because Pentatone has the RQR series which are similar to Dutton Vocalion, that is SACD releases of things that were originally quadrophonic. I have been considering writing to Berkshire Record Outlet and asking them to give more info when discs have multichannel content, because they usually are a little thin about it.

If it is Pentatone and the D/A code is "Analog" and it's an SACD then it may be one of the RQR series.
https://www.broinc.com/upc/827949014666/This one on the BRO web page does not say it is RQR but it is.
https://www.pentatonemusic.com/product/schumann-symphonies-no-1-spring-rhenish/This is likely a good one:
https://www.broinc.com/upc/827949016868/I have this one but have not played it yet but how can you go wrong with Mozart?

I usually also like Neville Marriner and the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields

The current Pentatone list price on the only RQR title they show is 18 Euro.

When I went through it again there were very few stockouts. Go to their page and select "featured restocks"
I have placed two orders with them and fast service, good packing etc.

Thanks for your recommendations. I have my eye on 2 or 3 so will order them this weekend
Maybe the stockouts have been removed when I last looked or more came in...

Great price on the complete Mozart youth symphonies quad set with Marriner: 827949046261 – Berkshire Record Outlet - $20 for 4 SACDs. For context, I'm pretty sure this is this 8 LP set, only ever released in stereo: Mozart - Academy Of St. Martin-in-the-Fields, Neville Marriner - The Early Symphonies = Die Frühen Sinfonien = Les 31 Symphonies De Jeunesse

Not a whole lot of these are quads though....kind of a surprise. Feel like their stock is pretty much sold by now. A few other Ozawa and Masur quads in there (if you see either one it's vintage, not modern), and a recital with Janet Baker as well.

The MOZART YOUTH SYMPHONIES ..... Not only a brilliant 4 disc SACD multi~CH set ...but an absolute steal at that price point!

FYI, there are "only" 20 of these mostly short symphonies in the SACD set. Still obviously worth getting.
