Two of my March wants are the deluxe editions (w/ multichannel Blu-ray) of Jethro Tull's new album, Curious Ruminant, and The Complete Recordings of Andy Summers and Robert Fripp, and there's a decent deal for them via Collectors' Choice Music (Allied). Pre-orders there for them are $45.98 ($56.98 MSRP) and $44.98 ($50.99 MSRP), respectively. Order both together to get free shipping ($50+). Then use the coupon CCM10, which works even though they are preorders. Final price for both is $81.86 shipped, plus whatever sales tax you pay for your location.

I am so tempted but with so much uncertainty right now how much extra will it cost to get it over the border I may hold back.
Having said that I think many of the stories may be exaggerated

I’ve been waiting for a while to place an order. Had to go for it at 40% off.

I'm not saying 40% off isn't a healthy discount, but... as someone who can't be bothered to care about the package beyond the Blu-Ray disc, it's hard to see it "down" to $60 without thinking "oh cool! Now it's only regular expensive instead of obscenely expensive." 😐

(mind you, I'd probably snap this up in a heartbeat regardless if I didn't still have the 5.1 DualDisc and an Apple TV4K for the (lossy) Atmos stream...)

Nice!...4 months later an $11.00 price drop...this drop doesn't hurt too much as compared to some others I think we've seen...did you get some sort of price alert or just happen to catch it?
I know what you mean. I have waited to purchase a few different box sets and have had mostly good luck, but a few went down not long after I committed. So it goes. With this one, I just happened to look today.

I hear you. If the dual-disc does the trick, then stay with it. I am typically one who looks primarily for the Blu-ray as well, but this package has a legendary live show as well as the book, so that qualifies as bonus material for me. T Heads are a favorite and I am happy to see the Atmos mix on a physical disc. Did you get the 4K version of Stop Making Sense?

Yeah, I just wouldn't mind being able to replace the DualDisc with a format that's not quite so particular and half-assed. 🙃
Tempted to get the 4K of SMS, but that's also somewhat unreasonably priced (thanks to A24...that seems to be their "thing" with home releases), plus I'm still on the fence thanks to all the different versions of SMS they've released over the years (there's a Blu-Ray from 10 or 15 years ago that features a so-called "studio" surround mix of the full setlist which sounds interesting). Just haven't made up my mind. And like I said, I do have an Apple TV device for streaming Atmos content, so I'm trying to be judicial on which titles I spend $$ on for hi-res physical Atmos. (I was really glad when they recently added an Atmos mix of Songs from the Big Chair to Apple Music so that I'm no longer tempted to spend the ridiculous amount the out-of-print 5.1 Blu-Ray's going for...)
