Didn't get around to posting last night, but I finished off with a crowler of Gravity Bound "Incline Inclinations" hazy DIPA

Went in and worked 6 1/2 hours today, last Saturday of the month is always pretty busy. Waiting for Mrs D to finish her shift at work and we'll make some dinner, but for now it's a can of Bow & Arrow "Bummin' Around the Badlands" pilsner.

Sharing, a crowler of Ex Novo "This One Gose Out To the One I Love" raspberry gose (5.2% abv). Not bad, but not as good as Steel Bender's raspberry dynamite.

And now, a can of Ex Novo "Just the Two of Us" SMASH Ale (5.5% abv). Nice easy going ale on the lighter side.

Been lazy about posting this weekend, ended up working a really long day Friday and another 7 hours on Saturday...here's a couple highlights though:

Next in the series of Bow & Arrow "Cactus Flats" hazy IPA....this one with azacca hops.

Bosque Brewing canned their "Moon Cannon" DIPA and I'm always up for that one!

And now, while waiting for Mrs D to get home from her shift, Boxing Bear "New Mexi-Kolsch" - a simple easy going brew.

I know many of you like a little salsa with your brew...I stumbled across this one...I always look for healthy versions of the food I eat...this one is low in sodium and no chemicals....my stomach will not permit me to get ultra spicy foods and this one is just about the limit for me...not sure if it is available outside of Ohio...this is medium and they do have hot or mild...

I do love salsa. For sure I've never seen that brand locally.

this one gets a re-visit from me. when an IPA lover like me sees the constant parade of New Englander this and thats hazy cloudy dirty whatevers, its nice to see a Westie be reintroduced. A Frankenstein recipe based from 4 of Founders' best Double IPA's - Sleeper Cell, Grease Monkey, 10K, and Double Trouble. This DIPA literally bursts with citrus and resin hop character. 9.2 ABV, 80 IBUs. Nice beer. Ill give it an 8 on a 10 scale

Yet again, busy busy busy but fun fun fun....managed to get out around 3:15 this afternoon and did a beer run on the way home...

Bow & Arrow "The Light of Western Stars" NEIPA (6.5% abv). Another good one from these folks, and I think it'll get better after settling for a few more days.

And finally, a new batch of Bosque Brewing "Scale Tipper" IPA (7.3% abv, 100 ibu). A fave of mine whenever they do a batch....I picked up three 4-packs and will probably get a couple more....national IPA challenge winner for a reason - it's dang good!

2021.43.1 Label.jpg

First batch of the year after taking 2020 off for obvious reasons. A DIPA that we brewed more to knock off the rust and try out some new gear.
We sampled a crappy American Barelywine (Duck-Rabbit, NC who make a tasty milk stout), a good stout (18th Street Brewery, IN Hunter) and an interesting Barleywine that aged well (Warped Wing, OH Grape Creek Must)
