I mean phuck google AI.
Those AI things lie and tell you what you want to hear.
I've certainly experienced questionable or flat out wrong info from their AI responses; I'm sure given time though they'll improve, early days. I'm also fairly certain the AI type of online experience will only grow more intertwined with all our daily lives going forward. We all must be wary and verify if possible.

The main thing here is, do either of you have info on this subject that would prove it was not correct?

Dua Lipa concert streaming on CBS & Paramount +, will there be Atmos for us streamers?

Caught her show on Paramount + last night on my Apple TV 4K and was very entertained by her hour long show. Best moment for me was her duet with Elton John, he sang very well also I thought. It amazes me how superstars like her can perform (especially in stiletto heals) so confidently and without showing the slightest bit of fear! Just a massively brilliant performance in my opinion. The audio for me (Atmos? to 5.1 for my rig) seemed to emphasize the ambiance feel of the venue- 'The Royal Albert Hall'; with not much discrete elements broken out of the mix. That's too bad IMO, because the whole floor was the stage, with her main band (loved the drummer), an orchestra with horns, percussion section, choir etc. etc.

Would like to hear some other's opinions on the show.

Unlike some people on the forum that evidently lives under a rock... I at least knew who she was. And I read positive things about her duet with Elton John.

So I was curious enough to watch the show on the network family TV, with commercials. I thought it was a class act, very nicely done. I can't see Lady Gaga or Katy Perry doing a performance like that. I recognized a few songs that I didn't know belonged to her. And indeed the highlight was her and Elton singing Cold Heart.

As I said this all was just on a plain 'ol Samsung family TV, not even a soundbar. So I will make an effort to track it down elsewhere & enjoy on my bigger screen through the Surround Master.

Good show.

The other night on NETFLIX, I watched THE CHILDREN'S TRAIN [2024] about children who were sent to live in Northern Italy with surrogate caretakers to escape the abject poverty suffered during WWII in Southern Italy!

The performances were EXQUISITE and I chose to watch it in its Native Italian with English subtitles!

Highly Recommended

The Children's Train - AZ Movies's Train - AZ Movies

While you are watching high brow quality drama like this, I have been LMAO at Loudermilk on Netflix:

So last night I caught the latest episode of Landman (maybe one of my favorite Billy Bob characters ever) and during one segment I heard something very rare! A fairly discrete version of the song โ€˜Spirit in the Skyโ€™ (5.1 here); started with distorted guitar in rear-right, main vocals and drums up front, and female backup vocals rear-left. Not sure if it was a really good up-mix, but it put a big smile on my face.

Been enjoying these Spy & assassin thrillers-

yup, not surprised!

Okay: just knowing that something like this can still be made briefly restores my faith in humanity. Robot Dreams, an animated feature directed by Pablo Berger, based on the kids' graphic novel by Sara Varon. I loved the book when my own son was small, and still do; it's not just for little kids, as it's a super-bittersweet meditation on love and loss and regret and recovery. Sara Varon is a genius, and Berger has really done right by her. Such a gorgeous film. It's wordless, and almost every second of it has some new visual subtlety or other. (Among other things, it's a love letter to early 1980s New York.)

Great 5.1 soundtrack with notable appearances by Booker T, Walter Beasley, and (above all) EWF's "September." Don't miss it.

Forgive me if I am posting this in the wrong section.
I have an Oppo BDP-103 and a 3D tv. Recently, Fandango at Home has removed the usage of their service on the Oppo (I am guessing because they don't have a way to update the app) thus removing my access to the 3D movies I have on their service.

Can anyone recommend a current Blu-ray player that has or can download Fandango and will stream the 3D movies? I have been looking and have found it nearly impossible to find that specific criteria.

Any help would be very appreciated.

I have an oppo 105 & the same thing happened to me. Since I have a projector, not a smart TV, having this built in to the Oppo was important. YouTube & Netflix still work OK.

However... my work around is using my desktop AV workstation. The HDMI output the PC plugs into my projectors 2nd HDMI input. The audio goes to my Anthem pre-pro via SPDIF or MCH analog outs on my sound card.

If you can hook up a PC to your TV just go to Fandango in any web browser & log in to your acct. Fandango is smart enough to know you're using a compatible device & all is good. All my purchases are there. And they gave me $10 credit for sticking with the service.

Did you call them or email them or something?

I appreciate your response and given solution.

My main concern was getting the 3D content to play. I have a Roku but it is not compatible with 3D content from Fandango.
