Jackson Browne - I’ll Do Anything on blu ray. Sounds great, but stereo only 🙁

Stones - Bridges to Bremen. Great Fidelity and a lot more happening in the rears then in the Havana moon blu ray. Jagger inn all five speakers and a lot of other instuments in the rears to. Broad soundstage, but of course not very discrete. But i like it, and the best surround i have heard of Stones since Symphatie.

RPWL - A New Dawn (Blu-ray)

Definitely one of the most interesting stage presentations I've seen, along with an excellent mix and sound quality. This really helped me get into the Wanted album a lot more than I had previously. I thought the guitarist was outstanding, also. This was quite a step up from their previous video releases - comes with an ATMOS mix that adapts really well to 5.1...

I had forgotten what an AWESOME GIG this is!!! Wonderful performance and a TIGHT GROUP!!!
And to boot a great MCH mix by Mr. Clearmountain!!!
I also noticed that she has NO backup vox!!!
BTW, the ONLY version of this is PAL, no NTSC...

Schiller
Zeitreise Live

Since the start of this year, when I discovered Chris Von Deylen's music, thanks to a thread on here about his Atmos release Morgenstrund, I have become a fan of his electronic, synth pop and ambient music.

He embraces surround music to such a high level that he surely deserves more exposure amongst us on this site...and elsewhere.
I have been busy trying to find most of his releases, as they really are superb, to my ears. I realise he is not to everyone's taste but I for one am extremely happy that I took a leap of faith and explored this man's music.

Plug over!!

Well you certainly make it sound as worth having. I have been curious about Schiller, I will try to check it out. Thanks!

Ladies & Gentlemen, The Rolling Stones/Blu-Ray
I know, the video is grainy & sucks, & the audio was originally Quad, mixed down to DTS/5.1, but the show was MAGNIFICENT!
Greatest R&R band EVER!
Mick Taylor? What can I say; one of the 5 greatest Rock Guitarists in my lifetime
Love Mick & Keith, but lets face it; after Taylor left, they were never the same; especially after Keith fell out of his hammock!
90 minutes of pure bliss

My R.E.M. Automatic for the People (Atmos) set arrived yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised to see it has about 6 or 7 songs as Atmos music videos (in addition to the full album in Atmos).

There were also a few Atmos music videos on the INXS Atmos disc too.

The music is fine, but there seemed not much in the rears but ambient. I'm not understanding that. Hardly seems worth the Atmos treatment? I checked the receiver to make sure it was recognizing the Atmos, and it was. <puzzled>

I’ve only watched/listened on my PCs 5.1 system as I have a couple of interstate guests staying in my main system room. I’ll take a listen today in Atmos 7.1.4 and give feedback.

would you believe...???
