I take it that you are refering to the Love - Forever Changes SACD. Mine is a real, honest-to-goodness SACD alright. You had me worried. I had to go and check. Why? Has there been some confusion with the SACD and RBCD versions?

I think they're talking about the Can/Babaluma SACD?

No idea I'm afraid I saw it discussed over @sa-cd.net and looked rather interesting so I went for it. Apparently it's a Czech release from EMI c.2010. As soon as I get a chance to try it out I will post back here

I was planning to get this one. But after hearing some tracks on youtube, the sound quality of the original recording seemed pretty bad. Do let us know how this sounds. Thanks in advance!

Ok...the Fed Ex driver just delivered 4 discs...and only 1 is multichannel...I've been branching out and taking chances on artists out of my comfort zone and not surround...so these 3 are Dusty In Memphis SACD....and this is the shocker...drum roll...Patsy Cline's Greatest Hits(not my style of music)SACD....and the one I have been waiting on Steely Dan Pretzel Logic SHM-SACD...if you are curious about my other disc its Lori Lieberman Bricks Against The Glass 5.1 blu ray HERE

It's (or better: it was) czech underground music. I'm not shure, but I remember having read the band had to smuggle out tapes of their recorded output to prevent them to be confiscated. They may have released their material in foreign western countries, they were supressed in their own? That may explain the non-hifi sound quality of their early material.

I saw the discussion at sa-cd.net as well and I searched youtube to get a sampling of the music. It is certainly....different. Different enough that I am thinking of picking it up.

Over on the SH forum they are claiming that an old RBCD mastered by SH from a cassette tape is superior to the SACD.
