I have read some drum "critics" claim Neil Peart was always trying to keep up, obviously ignorant to the fact that a good rhythm musician, in addition to attending to their job playing their instrument, always kept the other musicians IN TIME.

Everything Rush did on their records, they did on stage, too.

I went to grade school with a really cute girl who's father built a fallout shelter. She took me down there once to show it to me and guess what we did down there. Nothing. We were only in second grade, for God's sake. :D

This one is perpetually stuck in my head… the bass groove on this is insane, and to me it’s like Tears For Fears meets King Crimson (not so weird - there’s a great picture of Curt Smith right up front at an early 80’s KC show in the UK, before The Hurting came out, in absolute awe of Tony Levin!). Highly recommended to stream and crank on your hi-fi!
