500 Club - QQ All-Star
This is one of my favorite rock albums, but I'm disappointed with the DTS-HD MA 5.1 mix (I'm not set up for object based surround). It's a real letdown that Bargain is a lazy Penteo upmix. The rest of the songs, for whatever reason, lose much of their power when spread out in surround. The old Canadian CD is still my favorite. On the other hand, I really enjoyed the many bonus cuts. The Seeker, Join Together, Pure and Easy, and Let's See Action were especially good. So it's a mixed bag for me and rather hard to rate because of the disparity between the main feature and the added bonus tracks.
