I checked in again to Acoustic Sounds and guess what? They've removed the "April 30th" and put up "Coming Soon" again!

There's an off-chance we'll get it sooner . . . but I bet no one's holding their breath

I'm betting that the SACD of Are You Experienced? will come out sometime after the AS re-release of The Dark Side Of The Moon. Should be worth the long wait after the great job they did on Axis: Bold As Love.

I checked in again to Acoustic Sounds and guess what? They've removed the "April 30th" and put up "Coming Soon" again!

There's an off-chance we'll get it sooner . . . but I bet no one's holding their breath

You must be a glass "half full" guy...when I look at that it looks like beyond April...if it was really coming "soon" they would have put Feb shipping...like some of the other titles in "coming soon"...or March...or April...the poor Burrito title has pushed around like a pinata

I'm REALLY beginning to wonder if what Steve Hoffman said regarding the sound of the original master tapes [Are You Experienced] IS true .... that it was the worst Master Tapes he'd ever heard. Axis, IMO, was fantastic and LOVE the 5.1 remix of Electric Ladyland. I only hope we can have equal bragging rights when AP finally releases Are You Experienced.

While Jimi's classic Are You Experienced? may not be a sonic classic (like Pink Floyd's The Dark Side Of The Moon & Wish You Were Here), I'm still waiting for AS's SACD of the album to get the best possible sound out this landmark album (and to get the mono mixes of it as well).

They have had 4 other dates before that one...that I know of....if Acoustic Sounds EVER puts a real date instead of coming soon...then it will have some meaning...they control this release so when they have it the others will follow...

I would just LOVE to know what the hold up IS? This is surely an A~list, much anticipated title and Acoustic Sounds'/AP's silence is DEAFENING! Was a bad batch pressed?

I ordered my copy of Are you Experienced on 2/23/2018 and this Experience of the release date constantly getting pushed back is madness. The Axis sacd was late but still released
I would just as soon boycott anything AP does but I'll wait until Animals enters my mailbox. Are we not the targeted consumers for these? And we, just like the artists aren't getting any younger. So hurry up....
Oh and by the way I just cancelled my order for this title because of the bad Experience. Maybe everyone should cancel their pre-orders might light a fire under some asses. If it ever does see the light of day I may then order it, I'm thinking probably not, and the same goes with the Doobies (wasn't buying that anyways) Ha.
