2K Club - QQ Super Nova
I have a superb CD-4 transcription of AWB and I can confirm it's a great quad mix.Spinners first seems logical. AWB really IS a stunning quad mix...

If Rhino USA does a bundle and UK Dig doesn't do all four I'll buy from Rhino USAThe bundle deal will be available on Rhino.com just like last time (with everything shipping together!) No idea if what the UK Dig! store will take.
1 Warner (Bros.)
1 Reprise
2 Atlantic
Carry on...
I’m doubting Eagles would be classified as “soft rock” but perhaps.I can only hope the soft rock is The Eagles otherwise I doubt i’ll be buying any of them
More like country rock with the exception of "On the Border", which really rocks!I’m doubting Eagles would be classified as “soft rock” but perhaps.
nothing other than "Spectrum" on DVD-Audio in 5.1 Surround.Did Billy Cobham release anything on Quad other than Spectrum?
Because it’s been done twice already, in 5.1 & 4.0
One of a small number of titles I've long tried to get ahold of but the price is just outrageous. The 5.1 DVD-A of Cobham's Spectrum sounds terrible. The 2016 AF quad is great but now sells for well north of one hundred dollars. I would certainly purchase a Rhino re-issue of this title.
hand on heart, i'd rather Rhino focus on Quads that haven't been released on SACD or DVD-A/V alreadyIf they do Spectrum, and it’s part of a bundle same as last time, I’d buy it because it would only be $5 more than buying the other three separately.
But I certainly don’t need it, having played the DVD Audio twice and the SACD once
Most especially since AF's QUAD SACD is SUPERB! Agree with Adam, RHINO should focus on titles that have never had prior SURROUND releases!hand on heart, i'd rather Rhino focus on Quads that haven't been released on SACD or DVD-A/V already

mine's #1059While I can appreciate the predicament that those who didn't score a copy of the AF SACD are in, this certainly makes sense. AF sold a few thousand copies of this title. I can't imagine that Rhino will sell more than 10,000 copies of even the most popular titles. Most folks who own a copy of the AF SACD aren't going to double dip. (I know I won't). So it makes more sense business-wise to release titles that haven't been previously available in a digital physical format.
I am curious though..... My copy of Spectrum is #1741. Does anybody have a higher #?
Mine is #650. Spectrum and Bird of Fire are some of the few SACD's I still play regularly. I agree nearly 100%....other than maybe The Spinners as the Atlantic R&B. I'll be happy with either! My predictions. (Or hopes as they may be)
WB/soft-rock: James Taylor
Reprise/singer-songwriter: Gordon Lightfoot
Atlantic/R&B: Average White Band
Atlantic/Jazz: Billy Cobham

Higher, meaning lower? lol? Anyway, just looked at mine. #1763....and mint condition I Might add. While I can appreciate the predicament that those who didn't score a copy of the AF SACD are in, this certainly makes sense.
