Ripping Jailbreak 74...AC/DC

One of my all time fave songs from '74 Jailbreak. Soul Stripper. This is NOT the AC/DC you think you know. It is just big on rock/blues...with a badass swagger.
What a guitar player Angus Young is...on a side note...if I see one more picture of that Fed Ex envelope I'm gonna ask what it is:ROFLMAO:o_O

LMAO! I'm not humble......it's some patent papers I need to sign. I'm just not as motivated to do so.....I mean.....just another patent I wrote. I don't get anything for them...just my name in history. haha. To be clear, since I was a breeder.....all that germplasm I generated is still climbing through "their" program. So, if anything goes to market and it has my name on it....I get the patent. Woo hoo. Big deal. :)

OK, this has nothing to do with music. But check out our forecast for next week!! I mean, I live in central Illinois, not North Dakota!

Gene, I live in Southern New York and on Monday it was 15 degrees BELOW 0 and today the temperature hit 59 degrees [and in the 60's in some areas].....almost a 75 degree spread!

It looks like you have a heat wave brewing there on Monday GOS....back to non-surroundland: Just received the first, verifiable, never played 45 rpm vinyl I've bought in probably 40 years: The small boxset of The Turtles 45 Collection that came out in 2014. I have a couple LPs, but had to jump on a 45 boxset! Who recalls that Johnny Barbata was there drummer once upon a time....pre-CSNY and Jefferson Starship.

Oh John...haven't thought of this band for a LONG TIME....the album was written by Bob Dylan

Barbata played drums on Recital, Lee Michaels' second album.

I also listened to the 2 CD Solid Zinc: Turtles Anthology a couple days ago. She's My Girl, Eleanor, Guide for the Married Man, and Happy Together are among my faves of theirs.

Did anyone have the 45 of Sound Asleep? I seem to remember the Turtles suggesting playing the 45 at different speeds. Am I mixing this up with something else?
