It's been awhile since I watched it...gets better with age...Criterion did such a great job...classic film..

Which reminds me to watch MY Criterion remaster, Clinty. See, Clinty, watching movies ain't so bad ..... a nice alternative sometimes to sitting in the sweet spot ...... listening to music!

Well Ralphie I was in the video world before I crossed over to the music world...that's all I used to do...I guess I got burnt out on movies...I saw so many that it's useless for me to get the premium movie channels because I've seen all the movies that I like...the Big Chill has a lot of great music and I can relate to a LOT of what transpires in the movie....

And poor Glenn Close ....she put in a ravishing performance and never once received an Academy Award in all her years of performing. Have yet to 'crack open' my CRITERION Ingmar Bergman 4K remastered box set .... containing 39 of his brilliant films.

I've always been a fan of Robert Palmer (mostly solo career thanks to early MTV play).
I should have known, someone with his talent must of had an earlier career. Here is Palmer singing lead for Vinegar Joe from 1972. Hell yes! I may have to search for this vinyl.....I dig it. :)

Yes, we all know he also was part of Power Station....

Sooo young... anybody recognize the other cats in the band; they look familiar?
Love Palmer, a crying 😢 shame no Palmer surround!

Caught Lewis Capaldi on Colbert the other night where he played this song from last year. Here's the video of Someone You Loved, but be forewarned to have a box of tissues handy if you're going to watch it. Isn't it strange how just the right music mixed with just the right video can yank out emotions you thought were buried?

This is a look inside the making of that classic video...it's one I will never forget...an interesting perspective from the women involved...hard to believe that Robert Palmer died in 2003

Vinegar Joe were quite well known in the UK, along with the band Stone The Crows, for a bluesy-soulful style rock

Great sounding CD

One of my favorites...Danchiva in surround would be epic...maybe a little SMV2 action

This is an album that I used to know very well....yet I never owned my own copy. My buddy had the vinyl and we used to play it to death on a copy we made onto cassette.........you know.....in the ole' 442. :) It is a wonderful album.....geez.
