Kevin Costner was great!
Yeah, he played a 'lovely' corpse and the rest of his 'performance' ended up on the cutting room floor! I guess 'You Can't Always Get What You Want!"
Kevin Costner was great!
I've decided to watch THE BIG CHILL tonight...this Criterion Blu Ray is just outstanding...and the music fits the movie so well....brings back some memories for me...
It's been awhile since I watched it...gets better with age...Criterion did such a great job...classic film..
Which reminds me to watch MY Criterion remaster, Clinty. See, Clinty, watching movies ain't so bad ..... a nice alternative sometimes to sitting in the sweet spot ...... listening to music!
Well Ralphie I was in the video world before I crossed over to the music world...that's all I used to do...I guess I got burnt out on movies...I saw so many that it's useless for me to get the premium movie channels because I've seen all the movies that I like...the Big Chill has a lot of great music and I can relate to a LOT of what transpires in the movie....
I've always been a fan of Robert Palmer (mostly solo career thanks to early MTV play).
I should have known, someone with his talent must of had an earlier career. Here is Palmer singing lead for Vinegar Joe from 1972. Hell yes! I may have to search for this vinyl.....I dig it.
Yes, we all know he also was part of Power Station....
Sooo young... anybody recognize the other cats in the band; they look familiar?
Love Palmer, a crying shame no Palmer surround!

One of my favorites...Danchiva in surround would be epic...maybe a little SMV2 action
