Awesome CD!!

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That's such a fun disc...turn off the lights and relax with your favorite libation or plant and it's like a time machine that takes you "back in the day"...very cool...I'll probably only listen to it once...but it was worth it :LBone of Steve Hoffman's early jobs with DCC.

Vol. 2 - DYNAMITE! not missing anything but the Donahue.

If anyone out there in QQ land has A Long Time Comin' -Electric Flag CD w/Killing Floor, could you please a/b them and report back? Thank you in advance. I have a CD, Blu-Spec CD and my second LP. In my top 10 albums by anyone.

For all you SACD mavens, I have 4 of the 14 tracks on 2ch SACD. You might, as well. 1 on CD-4.

This one might be hard to justify for $60. On the other hand, if SH worked his magic on Killing Floor, I'd bite. Ditto for Nature's Way. Still lusting over an SACD Sardonicus. Also in my 10 favrorite albums. Another a/b would be appreciated.

welcome to my world Ralphie...you would be surprised what you have to pay for some of these older CDs...people are willing to pay for better sounding CDs...and some of these bands didn't have a lot available for sale

Clinty, I believe we both have ENOUGH MUSIC, surround and otherwise, to keep us satiated for years to come. And as you surmise, you'll probably play it once and relegate it to the 'pile.' Paying almost $70 for a USED disc in GOOD condition, especially a RBCD, is not a great deal.

Besides, I'm attempting to catch up on stacks and stacks of BD~Vs and UHD 4K discs [with more COMING] not to mention NETFLIX and more cable channels than one can shake a stick at.

Whatever happened to the GOOD OLD DAYS ....a choice of 3 Black & White MONO channels on a 13" TV, a few 45 rpm discs .....one car for the entire family...and the ole adage: "children should be seen BUT NOT HEARD?"

Oh I know...you are right...it's not a good deal...but I have a LOT of "good deals" that were complete flops and they don't interest me at all.....I'm in a battle(that I won't win)against time...I love the "hunt" as much as I love the end product...sad but true...but I missed so much music from "back in the day" and I want to hear it before I check out...right now I'm listening to some early Doobie Brothers(Brotherhood)...which is interesting and entertaining for my first listen...that's what keeps me going Ralphie...keeps the juices flowing...we all like and want different things :)

BTW, Clinty.....in today's mail: Be~Bop Deluxe: Futurama, 2 SACDS from MoFi and 1 UHD 4K. BTW, Music Direct did 'nab' me for sales tax.

Will the Madness NEVER End! 😵
