I was at this show in 1977, standing maybe 10-12 feet from the stage, the Madman was all aglow with a spirited show!

Listened to some Husker Du yesterday, and i was reminded of their take on the MTM theme song. I was lucky enough to see them live twice. This was part of their encores, and live, it was absolutely incendiary!

The album cover under the table I spotted first is the 1956 Broadway Original Cast of My Fair Lady that my folks had.
Heard it from the time I was a toddler.
It was my introduction to the concept of a "musical" where actors told a story by combining a play with songs.
The record had just enough dialog snippets as intros to the song that I could follow the story, no doubt with my mom filling in details.
The others I could decipher, early 60s crooners and another cast album.
