Here are two Motorola Q8s that I found over the weekend:

Spectrum of 4-Channel Sound. PCQ8-1003 (Q8)
Spectrum of 4-Channel Sound. PCQ8-1004 (Q8)

Both are already on Mark's list. These two have the exact same lineup, but 1003 is trimmed in blue and 1004 in orange. The sleeve for 1004 is orange as well, and the text suggests that it might have come with a Motorola home system of some type. Both are in red RCA tape cases.

This Motorola Q8 is not on Mark's list, and is a Columbia compilation rather than an RCA. The tracks are commonly found on other Columbia samplers.

Thanks for posting that, Lucanu! Interesting that there are both Ampex and RCA versions...

Say, does anyone out there have the quad version of Project3 6019/20 "Guitar Tapestry"? I have been studying the tracks on Project3 6009/10 "The Great Jazz Album" and 6011/12 "Super Solo", and would like some info on "Guitar Tapestry" as there are similarities between these three. Saw one a while back but the seller wanted more than I was willing to pay.

Found this in shop for used records in Osaka

The printing inside the gatefold cover is 99% japanese. Can't get any information about the orchestra out of that. Maybe some japanese member can see more in the picture of the track list.
The text contains some explanation about 4 Channel in general and about Technic's AFD (Acoustic Field Dimension Control) feature in their receivers and separate decoders. I remember such conrol on my SX8000 which is in storage currently. Most Tracks are instrumental only. All with an astonishing channel separation when played through the QRX 9001 QS decoder.

I recently found a variation of the Zenith LP from post #27:

Zenith Allegro Compatible Stereo & 4 Channel Demonstration Record
Zenith 16302 F3041R

...this one is Zenith 16302 F3041 (no "R"). It's more or less identical except the trailout vinyl does NOT have an "SQ" on side 1 -- track listing is the same, etc. The printing on the jacket is similar, without the wording on what to demonstrate with each side. While the F3041R jacket and label are printed in orange and brown, F3041 is printed in green and blue. Both reference 1974 Zenith models.

There may not be any practical difference, but I thought I'd point it out anyway.
